What is the settlement under long residency route?

After completion of 10 or more continuous legal stay, applicants can make an application for settlement. Applicants are usually required to fulfil the eligibility and suitability criteria as well as below mandatory requirements.

  • 10 years unbroken legal stay
  • English language requirements, currently at B1 Level (Unless an exception applies)
  • Life in the UK Test requirements (unless an exception applies)
  • Compulsory Residency requirements
