What is the EU settlement scheme?

Under the EU settlement scheme regulations, EEA/EU nationals who are continuing with their stay in the UK must apply under the scheme to get their status confirmed.

They will be granted pre-settled or settled status, depending on their period of stay on the date of application.

Applications are free and you must verify your identity and time in the UK with various available evidence. EU nationals are therefore encouraged to apply before the deadline of 30/06/2021.
